Which areas do you cover?
I split my time between London and Bristol So it’s super easy for me to cover anything in Greater London, Reading, Somerset, Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. I’m very happy to photograph weddings all over the country though, plus Scotland and Ireland.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Absolutely, I love to travel and I relish the opportunity to take photos in new places. If I can get there on a train or a short-haul flight, I’m in!
How far in advance should I book?
I prefer to take bookings between 6 months and one year in advance but I have photographed some pretty last-minute weddings in the past, so just ask me about your dates and we’ll see if I can fit you in.
What kind of editing do you do?
After shooting a wedding I might have up to 2000 photos so my first step is to condense down that number to a few hundred of the best ones. Once I’ve done that I use software to apply edits to several photos at a time, and these will be quite simple things such as brightness and contrast, colour temperature and cropping. In some very limited circumstances I might remove objects such as telephone wires or do face swaps in group photos, or if you wake up on the day of your wedding with a giant spot on your face, I can retouch this out (Please bear in mind that this is time-consuming so I can’t do it on every picture). I do have to draw the line at changing facial features, “face-tuning” or retouching people’s bodies.
